Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in the Province of Sindh for the following administrative positions, on a contract basis.

| 1 | I.T Technician (BPS-14) | Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS or equivalent, awarded after 16 years of education, at least 2nd division (preferably 1st), from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR Bachelor’s Degree after 14 years of education with a 1-year diploma in IT/CS (preferably 1st division) from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with 2 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 2 | Computer Operator (BPS-12) | Intermediate, at least 2nd division (preferably 1st division), from an HEC-recognized board, with a 1-year Computer Diploma, minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m., good knowledge of computer applications (MS Office), and 2 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 3 | Plumber (BPS-5) | Literate, with a Certificate of Plumbing and 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 4 | Carpenter (BPS-5) | Literate, with a Certificate of Carpentry and 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 5 | Mali (BPS-2) | Literate, with experience in the relevant field. |
Instructions
- Interested candidates should fill out the application form available on the SMI University website and send the printout of the duly filled form, along with a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 1,500/- in favor of “SMI University, Karachi” as a processing fee, the latest CV, a copy of CNIC, two recent passport-size photographs, copies of degrees/certificates, experience documents, and domicile, to the Directorate of Human Resources Management, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi-74000, latest by 18th July 2026, through courier or registered post.
- Candidates applying for posts Sr# 1 and 2 are required to send a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 1,500/- in favor of “SMI University, Karachi” as a processing fee.
- Candidates already in government service should apply through the proper channel.
- Kindly mention the position applied for on top of the envelope. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms with the required documents, complete in all respects.
- The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised posts at any stage.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written test/interview.
